Helping "Support Care of Older People" this Christmas

This Christmas we have chosen SCOOP (Support Care of Older People) as our organisation to support for 2019.

They provide community support for vulnerable adults, many of whom are living with dementia or are experiencing mental health difficulties. Their aim is to promote independence and improve and enhance people's quality of life enabling people to have their own choices.

This Christmas SCOOP have been fortunate enough to secure the use of the facilities of Ipswich YM Rugby Club and are inviting clients that would otherwise be on their own for Christmas. Their aim is to provide transport to and from the club, cook a three course meal, provide a gift and food hamper to take home.

We were so impressed with their plans that we have offered to provide the turkey needed for their Christmas meals and wish to put a call out to those that know us to see how they may be able to help.
